She has been a Junir Fellow at Dumbarton Oaks, Washington D.C. (1987-88)< Summer Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton N.J. (1988)< Paul Getty Fellow at Princeton University (1992-93)< Visiting Scholar at Princeton University, Department for Art and Archaeology (1993-95)< and Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellow at National Gallery of Art, Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (Spring 1997). Dr. Popovic was Representative to the European Committee for Cultural Heritage, Council of Europe, Strasbourg, France (1990-1991).
