Professor Libby teaches across both disciplines, landscape architecture & horticulture, and incorporates her professional experience assisting public sites (museums, public gardens, parks and historic properties) with issues of preservation, landscape interpretation and sustainable design.

Notes: She has worked closely with the National Park Service, Colonial Williamsburg, the American Association of Botanic Gardens and Arboreta and the Southern Garden History Society to promote the preservation and proper use of historic landscapes. Professor Libby teaches Public Horticulture, Woody Plants, the History of Landscape Architecture: American Traditions, and the History of Landscape Architecture: Western Traditions.
